Raised Garden Bed Pic

We live in a sheep farm and have access to old rain water tanks as you can see here in the photo. Instead of discarding them we cut them in half and created these two raised garden beds.

It is quite a large space to fill as you can see so we threw in old bits of wool lying around the shearing sheds, pieces of left over wood, bricks, rocks and anything else we could find to build it up.

We place dirt over all of that and as you can see the vegetables thrived.

We have tomatoes, silver beet, corn, zucchini, eggplant and strawberries.

I has been the most successful garden as it is high enough to keep the snails and slugs away.
