KING COBRA, GARLIC PASTE AND STONE SALT

I live in India and the Hindu religion consider snakes especially king cobra a God. As a consequence they will not try to kill the snake regardless of where it is.

Instead of killing it they will start to worship it by presenting egg and milk as per the Hindu religious ritual.

One evening when I was checking my garden I saw a middle aged snake trying to hide. While I was looking and calling for somebody to help it went down a hole. It was just one meter in length. Eventually people arrived to see what was going on, including the landlord. As he is a Hindu, he refused to find the snake and kill it.

After a long discussion, one person among the group suggested a plan. First he asked me to make a garlic paste. Then he told me to mix that with one litre of water and spread that all over my garden and house etc.

Then another person had another suggestion. He suggested spreading salt in stone form which I did.

After this incident I repeated the process each month and have never seen a snake again.
