Local Pet Store
To find live snails on the commercial market I suggest you make contact with your local Pet Store. They sell all types of animals, insects and mammals. If they don't stock live snails themselves they would have some idea of where you could get some I expect.
Aquarium Snails
I do know snails are very popular with people who have aquariums as they use them to clean the inside of fish tanks. If they are not suitable then ask if they know where you could get some land snails.
Your local zoo has heaps of information
The other idea I had was to make contact with your local zoo and ask them as they would buy snails to feed some of their animals.
Catch some yourselves
PLUS you can catch some yourselves. The wet cardboard idea here on the site will attract some for you. Just follow the instructions and see how you go.
