Gardening is a hobby and all of us if we have a place in our house should grow a vegetable garden so that we get to eat fresh vegetables every day. Moreover seeing us, the children also emulate from us and they feel very happy when they see a particular vegetable grow.

I love gardening and so my kids also love to do it. In my garden I have left a small patch for them where they grow and take the entire care of the plants by themselves. My duty is only to bring quality seeds and gardening tools and provide it to them.

Few months back they asked me to provide them with cauliflower, tomato and eggplant seeds and they planted them. When the plants started growing they took utmost care by providing water, manures and spraying pesticides if pests were seen.

They made it a point to take out time everyday to look after the plants. After a few days when they saw the small vegetables growing there joy knew no bounds. They were so excited that they invited all our friends and relatives and showed it to them.

Initially they were very reluctant to pluck the vegetables as they had nurtured it themselves. But when I plucked and made the vegetables they were very happy to eat it as it was very tasty since it was fresh.

The kids enjoyed the whole process of planting the seeds, watering the plants and seeing the plants grow very much.
