Here is a photo of a beautiful climbing rose bush that grows right next to a very old grape vine.
The vine is about 30 years old and has fantastic eating grapes at the end of each summer.
I am not sure how old the rose bush is but it looks as if it has been there for many years.
There are a lot of vineyards around my local area and most plant a rose bush at the end of each row of vines.

Companion planting list for veggie garden
I am planning a garden this year and would like to know what veggies and flowers should be planted together and also those to be avoided.
I am wanting to go as organic as possible and am only using heirloom seed. I want to take advantage of natural pest control.
Is there a basic list of flower and vegetable plant to plant together and to avoid panting together.
Thanks Cheryl
